IKE announces employee milestones

The Indiana-Kentucky Electric Corporation's Clifty Creek plant manager Clifford Carnes recently announced two retirements and one anniversary award.
Gerald W. Kelley, a maintenance mechanic-A, retired March 1, after 35 years of service. Kelley joined the company in 1978 as a laborer in the Labor Department. In 1983, he transferred to the Maintenance Department, where he advanced to maintenance mechanic-B in 1986 and maintenance mechanic-A in 1996.
Thomas M. McKay, an operating supervisor, retired April 1, with 35 years of service. McKay joined the company in 1977 as a guard in the Human Resources Department. In 1981, he transferred to the Operations Department, where he advanced to a unit supervisor in 1996 and to an operating supervisor in 2002.
Pamela E. Bechman, an operating supervisor, recently received her anniversary award for 30 years of service. Bechman joined the company April 11, 1983, as a laborer in the Labor Department. In 1985 she transferred to the Operations Department, where she advanced to a unit supervisor in 2008 and an operating supervisor in 2011.
