Madison Juvenile Correctional Facility has been recognized by the Performance-based Standards program for juvenile justice agencies and facilities to identify, monitor and improve conditions and services to youths using national standards and outcome measures.

This is the second time that the facility has achieved the goal.

PbS is a tool used to measure a facility's daily operation. Twice a year data is collected from student and staff surveys, incident reports, youth records, exit surveys, and family surveys.
