The Madison Concert Band has set its holiday music concert for Tuesday.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Overlook Ballroom at Clifty Inn, Clifty Falls State Park. Admission is free; contributions will be accepted.

Director Mark Johnson has planned a full program of Christmas numbers as well as other traditional concert music.

The program will open with "Christmas Declaration" composed by Robert W. Smith. Other numbers include: "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year," arranged by John Moss; "A Trumpeter's Lullaby," by Leroy Anderson, featuring a trumpet solo by Brook Reindollar; "A Crazy Mixed-Up Christmas Concert," by David Shaffer; "The Typewriter," by Leroy Anderson; "Go Tell It on the Mountain," arranged by Jay Dawson; "An American Christmas," arranged by Robert Smith; and "Christmas Sing-a-Long," arranged by James Ployhar.

The Madison Concert Band includes musicians of all ages and skill levels. Students as young as junior high age are welcome to join the concert band by attending rehearsals on Tuesday evenings. Rehearsals are held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Gym.
