A capella group Northern Kentucky Brotherhood Singers will present a free performance at 7 p.m. Saturday at General Butler State Resort Park in Carrollton.
The group, which has been together for 27 years, performs Gospel, patriotic and R&B music. Event organizers encourage visitors to bring their own lawn chair because of limited seating available.
The park, in partnership with Friends of Butler, presents artists for its Backyard Concert Series once a month, with performances ending in October.
Northern Kentucky Brotherhood Singers has six members: Eric Jennings, Greg Page, Eric Riley, Stace Darden, Demetrius Davenport and Samuel Norris Jr, with Norris being the most recent addition to the group.
The singers have performed in churches, secular music venues and TV spots throughout the U.S., as well as in Canada and Spain, which they have toured 17 times, according to the group's website.
The group also has performed at the Kentucky governor's mansion and numerous professional basketball and baseball games.
In 2012, the group released its fifth album, which includes songs "I'll Fly Away,""Jesus, You're All I Need To Get By," "My Prayer" and the title track, "One Purpose Only."
