Classical pianist Starla Hibler Raley will be featured during the sixth Village Lights Salon Concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

"Baroque and Beyond: A Musical Journey through Europe and the Americas," will be an evening of selections from Johann Sebastian Bach, Franz Liszt, George Gershwin, Frédéric Chopin and Alberto Ginastera.

Hibler holds doctor of musical arts and master of music degrees in piano performance from the University of North Texas where she studied with Joseph Banowetz.

She received a bachelor of music degree in piano performance from Illinois Wesleyan University and has studied at the Vienna Conservatory in Vienna, Austria.

Light refreshments and beverages will be available. Seating is limited, but space can be reserved by calling (812) 265-1800. A $15 admission is suggested.

The concert is part of the store's fifth anniversary celebration this weekend, which also includes Yvonne Davis performing Friday on the grand piano. Davis played for the store's grand opening in 2008 and will be appearing this year as part of the Main Street Christmas Open House lineup of musicians.

On Saturday, Cincinnati's Tom Schneider will perform American standards, Broadway show tunes and blues from 1 to 3 p.m.
