Derrick Howard: Will perform from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Historic Broadway Hotel and Tavern.
Senior Dance: Will be held Friday by the Madison Parks Department at the Brown Gym featuring the music of the Canyon River Band. The doors open at 5 p.m. Music begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $3 and includes snacks, drinks and door prizes.
Senior Dance: Will host the Forest Ridge Band Saturday from 5:15 to 9:30 p.m. at the Lide White Boys and Girls Club. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. The band will perform from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Admission is $5. For more information call (812) 599-0848 or (812) 274-0338.
Bingo Fundraiser: Theta Mu Chapter Phi Beta Psi Sorority will hold a bingo fundraiser at 7 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Madison Township Fire Company. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20. Ticket price includes supplies for 20 games and one trip to the good bar, with chicken salad on croissant, pickle spear, chips, drink and dessert. A portion of the proceeds will be sent directly to cancer research, which is Phi Beta Psi's national project.
Fourth Friday: Main Street will host musicians and artists during the October "Festive Fall" Fourth Friday Art Jam Oct. 26. Shops, restaurants and local art galleries will open extended hours and musicians will perform on the sidewalks of Main Street.
Kid's Halloween Party: The Madison Moose Lodge will host a children's Halloween Party Oct. 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Poetry Nights: Will be held Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. at Village Lights Bookstore. Open mic, open sign-up. All are invited to read their own work or that of a favorite poet. The emcee for the event is Jill Kelly Koren.
Halloween Party: The Thomas Family Winery will host their 17th annual Halloween party with prizes, costumes, food and music Oct. 27. The event will also feature live spooky music from Clocgheann.
Spooky Mansion: The Lanier Mansion State Historic Site will host an event Oct. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. for children ages 3 to 10. Activities will include trick-or-treating in the mansion's basement and spooky decorations on the first floor. There also will be crafts and stories. Admission is $3 per child. One adult admission is free with each child, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information call (812) 265-3526.
Halloween Party: The Madison Moose Lodge will host an adult Halloween party from 8 p.m. to midnight Oct. 27. The event will feature live music from Young Country.
BINGO: Will be held at the Madison Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1969, 3100 Michigan Road, Saturdays starting at 7 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.
BINGO: The Jefferson County Goodwill Conservation Club will host bingo Fridays at 10:15 p.m. and Mondays at 7 p.m. Early birds begin at 9:30 p.m. Fridays and 6:30 p.m. Mondays. Non-smoking.
Bob Saueressig B&W/Color: Will be on display in the Twain Room Gallery at Village Lights Bookstore through December. The exhibit features linocuts and new acrylic paintings created in the oil patch of North Dakota and on the North Country lakes.
Paul Hassfurder: Paul Hassfurder's wooden sculpture "Jellyfish" is on display in front of the Jefferson County Public Library Madison branch through Oct. 30.
Square Deal Show Grand Finale: The Madison Art Club, 309 W. Main St., has more than 100 pieces on display. Art will be displayed outside for "Art in the Alley" as part of Fourth Friday events Oct. 26 from 5 to 8 p.m. The show will end with a reception Oct. 28 from 4 to 6 p.m.
On the Wall - 13th Annual Halloween Art Show: Joeyg's Restaurant and Nightclub will host the 13th annual Halloween art show with works by Melodie Yvonne Ramey, The Grand Conundrum, Jane Vonderheide, Traci Lytle, Mary Jo O'Connor, Patty Cooper Wells, Cindie Underwood Vandebur, Jenny Straub Youngblood and Paul Hassfurder. The display will be featured until Nov. 2.
Trouble with the Curve (PG13): A baseball scout's eyesight is failing in his twilight years. His daughter leaves her job to go on one last recruiting trip with her father. The film stars Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams and John Goodman.
Frankenweenie (PG): Young Victor conducts a science experiment to bring his beloved dog Sparky back to life, only to face unintended, sometimes monstrous, consequences. The Tim Burton film features the voice talents of Winona Ryder, Catherine O'Hara and Martin Short.
VeggieTales - The League of Incredible Vegetables (G): The Ohio Theatre will host a free showing of the VeggieTales film 'The League of Incredible Vegetables' at 2 p.m. Oct. 28. The showing is sponsored by Kidzstreet.

Fun Size (PG13): Wren's Halloween plans go awry when she's made to babysit her brother, who disappears into a sea of trick-or-treaters. With her best friend and two nerds at her side, she needs to find her brother before her mom finds out he is missing. The film stars Victoria Justice and Chelsea Handler.
Silent Hill - Revelation (R): When her father disappears, Heather Mason is drawn into a strange and terrifying alternate reality that holds answers to the horrific nightmares that have plagued her since her childhood.
Paranormal Activity 4 (R): It has been five years since the disappearance of Katie and Hunter, and a suburban family witness strange events in their neighborhood when a woman and a mysterious child move in. The film stars Katie Featherstone, Kathryn Newton and Matt Shively.
Here Comes the Boom (PG): A high school biology teacher looks to become a successful mixed-martial arts fighter in an effort to raise money to prevent extra-curricular activities from being axed at his cash-strapped school. The films tars Kevin James, Salma Hayek and Henry Winkler.
Sinister (R): Found footage helps a true-crime novelist realize how and why a family was murdered in his new home, though his discoveries put his entire family in the path of a supernatural entity. The film stars Ethan Hawke, Juliet Rylance and James Ransome.
Hotel Transylvania (PG): Dracula, who operates a high-end resort away from the human world, goes into overprotective mode when a boy discovers the resort and falls for the count's teenage daughter. The film features the voices of Adam Sandler, Kevin James and Andy Samberg.
