Derby Dinner to host musical rendition of '9 to 5'

A new Broadway musical comedy makes its way to the stage of Derby Dinner Playhouse next week.
Three unlikely friends conspire to take control of the company where they work in the production of "9 to 5: The Musical" beginning April 2.
The show, based on a book by Patricia Resnick, shows the three friends there's nothing they can't do, even in a man's world.
The production portrays the story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex-era as the three friends team up to take care of business, while getting the credit they deserve and getting even.
The story of friendship and revenge is based on the 1980 hit movie and features Dolly Parton's original hit title song, a press release said. Other songs include are "Backwoods Barbie," "One of the Boys" and more. The musical will be at Derby Dinner Playhouse in Clarksville until May 19.
Actors include Jillian Prefach, Sarah Ann Koster, Elizabeth Bailey, Matthew Bryan Feld, Elizabeth Loos, Derek Basthemer, Robert Conte, Ricky Cona, Annette McCulloch, Carly Stotts, Alex Craig, Sandra Rivera, Tina Jo Wallace, Lem Jackson, John Vessels, Matthew Brennan, Kyle Braun, Brittany Carricato and Kate E. Reedy. The show is directed by Lee Buckholz. Heather Paige Folsom serves as the show's choreographer, and Scott Bradley serves as the musical director.
Ticket prices are $40 for the Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday evening performances. Friday evening performance tickets are $41, and tickets for the Saturday evening show costs $44. Doors and the buffet open at 6 p.m. during evening shows with the Main Stage Curtain rising at 7:45 p.m.
Tickets for the Sunday Matinee are $36, with the doors and buffet opening at 11:45 a.m. and the Main Stage Curtain opening around 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday Matinee tickets cost $35 with doors and the buffet opening at 11:45 a.m. and the show beginning at 1 p.m.
