The Madison Art Club has announced its second quarterly rotation of the 2017 “Art of Healing” exhibit at King’s Daughters’ Hospital.

The exhibit runs from April 3 to July 2 with an artists reception scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. on May 7 in the Seasons Cafe.

The regular exhibit can be viewed during cafe business hours.

The rotation includes 21 original watercolors, oils, acrylics, pencil, fiber art, photography, mixed media, spray paint and collage pieces from 17 area artists who were chosen by the King’s Daughters’ Health Art Selection Committee from more than 45 submissions.

Returning this rotation is a series of smaller items, such as prints and note cards of local scenes, created by several exhibiting artists that will be available for purchase only during the reception.

Artists with works to be displayed include: John Benzing, Nancy Dornbusch, Natalie Gray, Stacy Hardesty-Gray,. Brenda Holbrook,. Sandy King, Lou Knoble, Richard Leep, Belva Lowry, Cyndi Myers, Edgar Polley, Dottie Shepherd, Alice Jane Smith, Barbara Tompary, Carole Williams, Lillie Wingham & Linda Wood.

The rotating exhibition first started in 2014 as a partnership between the local arts community and the healing community to bring original artwork to the walls of the King’s Daughters’ Hospital.
