Hanover Homecoming comedy show open to the public

Hanover College is hosting a homecoming comedy show featuring Damon Williams and Chastity Washington.
Williams has made numerous television appearances that include BET's "Comicview" and a one-hour special. He's also appeared on "Showtime at the Apollo."
Williams also maintains his weekly comedy showcase at B'n'J's in Matteson, Ill., and often opens for the sketch comedy team "Forgotten City" at Second City.
Washington has been performing for the better part of 20 years as a comedian, performance artist, playwright choreographer and Michael Jackson impersonator. She often performs at nightclubs, college campuses and theaters around the country.
The Saturday show is free and open to the public. It begins at 9 p.m. at the Center for Fine Arts.
The show will also include a $100 giftcard give-away.
Other Hanover College homecoming festivities include the football game between Hanover and Bluffton College at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $5 for adults and $1 for children. College students with a student identification get in for free.
The annual 5K run begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. All proceeds will benefit Hanover College's new Wellness program. There will also be an art exhibition featuring artwork by John Douglas Powers from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., campus tours from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., an all-alumni tailgate in the tailgate lot beginning at 11 a.m. and a memorial reflection service to remember deceased alumni at the school chapel from 2 to 4 p.m.
Hanover will also have reunions around campus honoring classes that graduated in years ending with a 3 or an 8.
