The Madison Art Club is hosting its second annual Champagne and Chocolates event from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
Art club member Dottie Shepherd said that she hopes to continue the event for years to come.
"We're hoping people will stop by on their way to dinner," Shepherd said. "They can stop by to sip champagne and have some chocolate."
Shepherd said that the evening is a casual event and offers a chance for people to view work by local artists.
Admission into the gallery and chocolate is free, while glasses of champagne cost $1 each. People will be able to keep their champagne glasses at the end of the night as well.
Art on Main will be displaying art from local artists as well as this month's featured artist Kevin Carlson. His work will be on display until the end of the month. Next month's featured artist will be selected on Feb. 21 during the club's regular meeting.
Carlson has his own gallery on the corner of Jefferson and Second streets.
Art on Main is located at 309 W. Main St.
