Madison Metal Fest returns this weekend

Fans of music with a harder edge are invited to a weekend concert featuring eight regional bands.
The second annual Madison Metal Fest will begin at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Democratic Headquarters, 406 E. Main St.
The event, organized by Paul Kasper, will feature the hard rocking sounds of groups from as close as Eminence, Ky. and as far as New Jersey. Performances are expected to last until midnight.
Bands set to perform include Picturesque, of Lexington, Ky.; Gallifrey Falls of Louisville, Ky.; Grave Friends, of Cincinnati, Ohio; You Won’t Feel a Thing, of Eminence; The Artisan, of New Jersey, The Earth Laid Bare, of Highland Heights, Ky.; Homebound, of Cincinnati and Flip The Switch, of both Kentucky and Indiana.
Doors for the show will open at 5 p.m. and tickets can be purchased then for $12. All ages are welcome.
