Madison hosts road rally scavenger hunt

Come Saturday, you can search high and low and then some.
But first, you'll need this starting clue: Scenic Road Rallies, a Sunman, company, will host a scavenger hunt road rally in downtown Madison that will highlight several of town's historic and somewhat unknown places.
The event is similar to the CBS hit show "The Amazing Race." Participants can spend the day deciphering clues and then recovering items from the different locations.
The course is about 25 miles long and is estimated to take about four hours for each team.
The rally begins and ends at the picnic shelter house in Clifty Falls State Park. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and there will be a driver's meeting at 9:45 a.m.
The hunt will start at 10 a.m.
The rally is open to all street-legal vehicles (So that means no nitrous oxide boosters, "Fast and the Furious," fans).
The fee is $44.95 per vehicle on the day of the event.
Driver's must be 18, have a valid driver's license and provide proof of automobile insurance. Driver's license and insurance card must be current.
For the hunt, participants will need a clip board, pen or pencil, a shoe box for recovered items and either a digital camera or a cell phone with a camera. Participants may not bring alcoholic beverages, pets or race one another in their vehicles.
Prizes will be awarded to the top teams.
