Norbert Krapf Poetry Reading and Signing: Village Lights Bookstore will host former Indiana Poet Laureate Norbert Krapf Nov. 3 from 1 to 3 p.m. to read and sign his latest book, "Songs in Sepia and Black & White." The book is a collaboration with Richard Fields, whose photographs will be exhibited in the Twain Room during the event.

RiverRoots Half-Way Party: Celebrate the half-way point to the 2013 RiverRoots Music and Folk Arts Festival at 7 p.m. Nov. 10 at The Livery Stable with live music from Jessi Curtis and BlueGrazz Junction. The event will also include craft brew beer tasting, raffles, arts and crats. Admission is $10. Proceeds go towards the 2013 event.

Bob Saueressig B&W/Color: Will be on display in the Twain Room Gallery at Village Lights Bookstore through December. The exhibit features linocuts and new acrylic paintings created in the oil patch of North Dakota and on the North Country lakes.

On the Wall - 13th Annual Halloween Art Show: Joeyg's Restaurant and Nightclub will host the 13th annual Halloween art show with works by Melodie Yvonne Ramey, The Grand Conundrum, Jane Vonderheide, Traci Lytle, Mary Jo O'Connor, Patty Cooper Wells, Cindie Underwood Vandebur, Jenny Straub Youngblood and Paul Hassfurder. The display will be featured until Nov. 2.

Theresa Strohl: An exhibition of Theresa Strohl's art photography will be on display through November at the Thomas Family Winery.
