RiverRoots Halfway Party: Celebrate the half-way point to the 2013 RiverRoots Music and Folk Arts Festival at 7 p.m. at The Livery Stable with live music from Jessi Curtis and BlueGrazz Junction. Hispanic Art Show: The Carroll County Public Library will host a Hispanic Art Show featuring student artist Kristin Arvin in the library's community room starting Nov. 9 with an opening at 6 p.m.
Bob Saueressig B&W/Color: Will be on display in the Twain Room Gallery at Village Lights Bookstore through December. The exhibit features linocuts and new acrylic paintings created in the oil patch of North Dakota and on the North Country lakes.
William Borden Watercolors: An exhibition of Bill Borden's watercolors will be on display Nov. 4 through Jan. 8 at The Thomas Family Winery. The display will include paintings done overseas and in Madison.
Trouble with the Curve (PG13): A baseball scout's eyesight is failing in his twilight years. His daughter leaves her job to go on one last recruiting trip with her father. The film stars Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams and John Goodman.
The Odd Life of Timothy Green (PG): A childless couple bury a box in their backyard, containing all of their wishes for an infant. Soon, a child is born, though Timothy Green is not all that he appears. The film stars Jennifer Garner, Joel Edgerton and CJ Adams.

Skyfall (PG13): In the newest James Bond film, Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the treat, no matter how personal the cost. The film stars Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem and Naomie Harris.
Wreck-It Ralph (PG): A video game villain wants to be a hero and sets out to fulfill his dream, but his quest brings havoc to the whole arcade where he lives. The animated movie stars the voice talents of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, Alan Tudyk and Jane Lynch.
Fun Size (PG13): Wren's Halloween plans go awry when she's made to babysit her brother, who disappears into a sea of trick-or-treaters. With her best friend and two nerds at her side, she needs to find her brother before her mom finds out he is missing. The film stars Victoria Justice and Chelsea Handler.
Silent Hill - Revelation (R): When her father disappears, Heather Mason is drawn into a strange and terrifying alternate reality that holds answers to the horrific nightmares that have plagued her since her childhood.
Paranormal Activity 4 (R): It has been five years since the disappearance of Katie and Hunter, and a suburban family witness strange events in their neighborhood when a woman and a mysterious child move in. The film stars Katie Featherstone, Kathryn Newton and Matt Shively.
Here Comes the Boom (PG): A high school biology teacher looks to become a successful mixed-martial arts fighter in an effort to raise money to prevent extra-curricular activities from being axed at his cash-strapped school. The films tars Kevin James, Salma Hayek and Henry Winkler.
Sinister (R): Found footage helps a true-crime novelist realize how and why a family was murdered in his new home, though his discoveries put his entire family in the path of a supernatural entity. The film stars Ethan Hawke, Juliet Rylance and James Ransome.
Hotel Transylvania (PG): Dracula, who operates a high-end resort away from the human world, goes into overprotective mode when a boy discovers the resort and falls for the count's teenage daughter. The film features the voices of Adam Sandler, Kevin James and Andy Samberg.
