Three book signings scheduled for weekend

The Village Light's Bookstore is hosting a trio of book signings this weekend, with two at their downtown location and one at the RiverRoots Festival.
The bookstore will host the four authors of the three books who will read excerpts from their works and sign books as well.
Lisa Trimble Actor, a southern Indiana native, now lives in the mountains of northern Utah. Growing up, she heard the stories of Morgan's Raiders. The legendary story of her father's aunt Cordelia, a nine-year-old who fixed breakfast for 50 enemy soldiers during the Civil War.
The book, intended for young readers, is based on events experienced by the author's ancestors during the Civil War.
Actor will be at Village Lights Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
River Life: A Journey from Headwaters to the Sea
Marianne Wallace is a writer and illustrator whose work has appeared in over 30 nature-related publications, including eight books for children. His book, set in a small stream in a Pennsylvania woodland, follows the seasons of river life along three connected streams. The book features the Allegheny during spring, the Ohio during summer, and the Lower Mississippi during fall.
Wallace will be signing books from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Indiana beer enthusiasts Bob Ostrander and Derrick Morris take readers on a pub crawl through Indiana's beer history. This city-by-city guide gives readers a sample of over 300 sites.
Ostrander has owned pieces of an Indianapolis bar and a Terre Haute brewery. He founded the IndianaBeer.com news website and has been the webmaster for the Brewers of Indiana Guild trade association. Morris has a strong passion for collecting beer memorabilia from Indiana. He owns the world's largest collection of Indiana beer history.
The two will be signing books from 1 to 3 p.m. at the beer tent at the RiverRoots festival Saturday.
