Two break-in attempts took place in Carroll County before the holiday weekend.
The Carroll County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of break-ins on Gilgal Road and Woodrow Wilson Road. The suspects broke open a door at the residence on Gilgal Road, but a home security system sounded. It appeared nothing was taken from the Gilgal Road residence, a Carroll County Sheriff's Office release said.
Subjects at the Woodrow Wilson Road residence took a rock and broke out the back door window to gain access to the home. The subjects took five guns, five collector knives, a Nikon camera, a grass trimmer and tools, the release said.
Anyone with information on either break-in are asked to call the Carroll County Sheriff's Office at (502) 732-7010 or send an anonymous tip via the Sheriff's website at www.carrollcountykysheriff.com.
