Film team plans to re-enact 1988 Carroll Co. bus crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - A film team making a documentary about the Carroll County bus crash that killed 27 people plans to re-enact the crash this weekend as it prepares the film for release next year.
The church bus was returning to Radcliff after an outing to Kings Island when the vehicle collided with a pickup truck being driven the wrong way on Interstate 71 by a drunken driver. It is considered the worst drunken driving crash in U.S. history.
The Lexington Herald-Leader says Lexington-based filmmaker Jason Epperson is looking for extras for the re-enactment. The film, titled "Impact: After the Crash," is planned for release next spring to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the May 14, 1988, wreck.

That was a nightmare and nobody forgets it. Please don't bring it back to the victims and those that lived it.
