Two New Albany residents were arrested after attempting to break into a Carroll County home on Wednesday.
Barbara Propes, 25, and Raymond Grinmette, 46, were arrested on burglary charges after a neighbor saw the two trying to break into a home on Mound Hill Road, the Carroll County Sheriff's Office said.
The couple drove away from the home, but a neighbor was able to keep the two in sight until Sheriff Jamie Kinman pulled the vehicle over on KY 55.
Propes was charged with burglary and disorderly conduct. Grinmette was charged with burglary and driving with a suspended license.
Both remain lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center.
