Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson, left, speaks with workers Russell Vonbargen and Marilyn Morris at the Switzerland County Vote Center in the county's new Technology Center in Vevay this morning. Lawson was visiting Switzerland County on Election Day to see how the new voting center system is working for the county. The mobile voting center replaces the traditional precincts. It was taken to several locations in the county before Election Day and then was set up in Vevay for today's voters. Anyone in the county is allowed to vote at the place and time that works for them. Lawson had several questions for workers, voters and Switzerland County Deputy Clerk of Court Rita Brogan about the efficiency, ease of use and cost of the vote center. Lawson said that more counties are making the transition to vote centers because of cost savings.
