The 233 members of the Hanover College class of 2014 received diplomas during a ceremony Saturday at The Point.

J. Joseph Hale Jr., a 1971 graduate, delivered the commencement address. He retired as president of Cinergy Foundation and currently serves as president of Global BrightLight Foundation. Hale also received an honorary doctor of humane letters.

Regional graduates included: Alicia Aldridge of Madison; Katie McKinley of Hanover; James Jones of Lexington; Lacey Peelman of Vevay; David Craig of Carrollton, Ky.; Rachel Massie of Milton. Ky.; Andrew Stark, of Bedford, Ky.; Jordan Bear of Commiskey; Chantel Caudill and Jordan Hall of New Washington; Morgan Land, Taylor Shaw and Kevin Daeger of North Vernon; and Jeremiah Kearns of Austin.
