Jim Monnig, of Kidd Steel Products in St. Leon, Ind., grinds a beam in preparation for some welding work on the north end of the Clearinghouse building on Wednesday. Several beams that hold up the brick work on the top of the building had rust damage. Those beam portions are being cut out and replaced with new steel. Jim is working UNSAFE, he is not wearing a face shield or gloves, its a bad example of working safe.
What if there was a spark or piece of debris that flew into his face or he ended up cutting his finger off?
