Monday, May 06, 2013 11:00 AM
Indiana Sen. Joe Donnelly will speak at the Ivy Tech Community College Southeast commencement Sunday.
The ceremony will be at 1 p.m. in the Collier Arena of the Horner Health and Recreation Center at Hanover College. College officials say 758 students will be eligible to receive degrees or certificates.
This year, Ivy Tech will celebrate its largest graduating class as an estimated 16,700 credentials will be awarded at its 14 commencement ceremonies.
This year marks the college's 50th anniversary and in celebration of the historic landmark, Ivy Tech statewide is awarding over 50 honorary degrees.
Former Madison mayor Al Huntington will be one of the recipients of an honorary degree.
