State Rep. Terry Goodin spoke about the recently ended legislative session during a speech at the Jefferson County Democratic Party's 2013 Jefferson-Jackson Dinner at the Clifty Falls State Park Clifty Inn on Thursday. Goodin called the Republican-controlled session a "session of the status quo" with no jobs bill and what he described as a "Phantom Tax Cut," which he said will amount to a $2 a week tax break for the average Indiana worker. "Indiana has become a national laughing stock in the field of economics by passing a tax cut that doesn't help taxpayers or the state," Goodin said.
