ONE YEAR LATER
Saturday, March 02, 2013 6:00 AM
Today marks the one-year anniversary of the day an EF-3 tornado shook the Courierarea to its core.
The twister made its way through Henryville and into Jefferson County, destroying homes along Jackson Road near State Road 62. The storm continued east before jumping the Ohio River and into Trimble County, Ky.
The four local residents who lost their lives during the storm were John K. Poyner, 30; Nancy C. Jackson, 70; Daylynn Jackson, 4; and Terry M. Jackson, 70.
Today and Monday, we revisit some of the families who were impacted by the storm to see where they are now and how they have coped since the day that forever changed their lives.

I just received via mail the Courier for February 28. The center headline in the banner should, of course, read, "One year after the MARCH 2, 2012................"
