Madison police arrested two people Wednesday after Indiana State Police executed an arrest warrant.

Police were called to the 800 block of Gerry Lane after ISP requested assistance.

One man, identified as Steven D. McQueary, 33, of Hanover, had an active warrant and was placed under arrest.

The other man, Gerald Mahoney Jr., 32, of Madison, was found to have paraphernalia that field-tested positive for methamphetamine, Chief Dan Thurston said in a news release. He faces charges of possession of meth and possession of paraphernalia.

Both men were taken to the Jefferson County Jail.
