CONSTRUCTING A CROSSWALK

Local officials were on hand Monday for the groundbreaking of a crosswalk project on Clifty Drive between Madison Consolidated High School and McDonald's.
The crosswalk will have a ramp on both sides of Clifty Drive, with a crosswalk painted on the roadway.
The officials are: State Rep. Terry Goodin (front row, from left), Madison Consolidated Schools board member Linda laCour, MCS Superintendent Ginger Studebaker-Bolinger, Madison Mayor Damon Welch and Indiana State Sen. Jim Smith.
