Madison police are looking for information about the driver of a vehicle they said struck a pedestrian Sunday and left the scene.

Chief Dan Thurston said an employee of Tractor Supply was walking in the parking lot when she was struck by a dark, four-door vehicle. Thurston said the car stopped, but no one exited the vehicle, and drove off once the employee stood up.

The employee had minor bruising as a result of the accident.

Police do not know a make or model of the vehicle and are looking for any information about the case. Anyone with information can contact Sgt. Derk Napier, who is leading the investigation, at (812) 265-3347.
