Madison police arrested a man on a charge of intent to deal heroin after receiving reports of a domestic incident Sunday.

Chief Dan Thurston said Anthony Turner, 27, of Madison, was in an altercation with a woman and was restraining her from leaving.

Office Kurtis Wallace placed Turner under arrest on a charge of criminal confinement.

While searching Turner, police said they found 10 aluminum foil packages that contained a substance that field-tested positive for heroin.

Turner was arrested on charges of possession of heroin with intent to deal within 1,000 feet of a city park and criminal confinement.
