Hanover police arrested a man Tuesday on allegations that he sold prescription pills to an undercover informant.

Brandon Ray Stucker, 28, of Hanover, was arrested on a charge of dealing a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a public park, a Class A felony.

Stucker has been arrested before for dealing pills and was sentenced to eight years in prison with two years suspended to probation. That sentence was modified to give him a shorter prison term.

During his probation term, officials filed a probation violation against Stucker for allegedly using Xanax and failing to appear at required meetings. The violation is still pending.

Stucker was taken to the Jefferson County Jail.
