Man gets 5 years for separate cases

James Sedam Jr. was sentenced to five years in prison Monday in connection with three separate cases.

The James Sedam who was sentenced to five years in prison Monday was James W. Sedam Jr.
Sedam was sentenced to one year in prison for a theft case. Prosecutors charged Sedam with being a habitual felony offender, which added an additional two years to Sedam's sentence. Sedam also violated his probation, which added two more years to his sentence.
