Indiana State Police arrested a North Vernon man Saturday after receiving information about a possible methamphetamine lab in Dupont.
James D. May, 40, was arrested on a charge of possession of precursors, a Class D felony. Troopers responded to Sparkman Trailer Court and received permission to search the residence from a woman who lived in the trailer, police said.
Police found a bag with meth ingredients inside and arrested May, police said.
Additional charges could be filed after prosecutors review the case, said Sgt. Noel Houze, public information officer with the state police. The female resident and owner of the trailer could also face charges, Houze said.
