Mr. and Mrs. Claus, top, wave to spectators lined up along the parade route on Main Street during Saturday's Very Merry Christmas Parade. The parade ran from Jefferson Street to Mill Street and lasted about 30 minutes. The temperature was in the mid-20s at parade time. The event was delayed two hours because of ice and heavy snowfall Friday night.
Kristy Adams, bottom, puts an over-sized hat and bow on her 6-year-old daughter, Sarah, - who was dressed as a present - before the start of the Very Merry Christmas Parade in downtown Madison on Saturday. The two walked with local Girl Scout Troop 387. Adams said the frigid weather forced much of the Girl Scout troop to stay at home.
