POOLS OPEN FOR HOLIDAY WEEKEND
Plunge into summer

Crystal Beach Pool will open today for the holiday weekend.
The community pool on Vaughn Drive will be open through Monday from noon to 8 p.m.
The pool will be closed the remainder of the week before reopening for the summer season May 31, from noon to 8 p.m. every day.
Crystal Beach admission is $4 a day or $50 for a summer pool pass.
Clifty Falls State Park swimming pool and waterslide will open today and remain open throughout the Memorial Day weekend. The pool will operate with weekend hours until the normal summer hours begin later in the season. Hours may depend on lifeguard availability, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources website said.
Admission to state park pools is $3 per person, the website said. A $50 swimming permit allows visitors 25 daily pool admissions.
The pool at Madison Consolidated Junior High School will continue its community swim hours into the summer.
The junior high school pool will be open to the public on Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m., Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Admission is $1.
