TIF Board OKs water line bid

A bid for a new water line to be installed along Dawson Smith from Michigan Road to Shun Pike was accepted by the Madison Redevelopment Commission, or TIF Board, Wednesday.
The bid was awarded to Sedam Contracting of Hanover, for $195,850 plus engineering fees.
Bernard Hauersperger, president and engineer at FPBH Inc., said he's hopeful to have construction started by mid-December.
Holman Excavating, LLC, Lykins Contracting and Dave O'Mara Contractor, Inc., placed the three nearest bids at $223,660, $231,615 and $247,510 respectively.
