Veterans Day programs

The American Legion Post 41 in Carroll County will hold a Veterans Day Ceremony at 2 p.m. Sunday at General Butler State Resort Park.
The ceremony will take place near the Kentucky Veterans Memorial in the park.
There will be four Veterans Day programs Monday at Madison Consolidated Schools.
Madison Consolidated High School and Madison Junior High School will hold their ceremony together at 8:30 a.m. Monday in Conner K. Salm Gym.
The school will host a continental breakfast for the veterans in the small gym from 7 to 8:15 a.m. During the breakfast, veterans will be asked to register for the program.
Mayor Damon Welch will be the program narrator, and the event will include its traditional roll call read by Madison School Board Vice President Todd Bass, who is a senior master sergeant in the Indiana Air National Guard. During the roll call, Bass will read the ranks and times of service for each veteran in attendance.
Maj. James Jackson, a Madison cardiologists and Vietnam War veteran, will give the keynote address, and there will be performances by the school choir and band.
Rykers' Ridge Elementary School's program will be at 8 a.m. Monday.
· E.O. Muncie Elementary School's program will be at 8:55 a.m. Monday.
· Deputy Elementary School's program will be at 1 p.m. Monday.
