Thursday, January 31, 2013 10:00 AM
A former employee of the Spaulding Dental Office pleaded guilty Wednesday to stealing more than $116,000 from the business.
Barbara J. McAlister, 64, of Madison, pleaded guilty to corrupt business influence, a Class C felony, and five counts of theft, a Class D felony. McAlister's plea deal does not include a sentence, which will be argued at a later date.
McAlister, according to the probable cause affidavit from the case, would take cash payments from customers and not record the transaction in any official log. In all, McAlister stole $116,200, according to police.
She will officially be sentenced March 21.
