The drivers in a motorcycle-SUV wreck Tuesday have been identified.
Police said Samuel E. Stewart Jr., 32, of Madison, was eastbound on a motorcycle on Green Road when he was clipped by Carrie A. Heimbach, 35, of Lexington.
Police said Heimbach, who was in a 2006 GMC Yukon, was turning left to enter a parking lot but did not see the motorcycle.
Stewart was taken to King's Daughters' Hospital with head and leg injuries and airlifted to University Hospital. His condition was not released.
Chuck Abney of Madison, is recovering from injuries he sustained in Trimble County last week when his motorcycle and another vehicle collided.
Abney has had surgery to repair broken bones and his family says he has suffered mini strokes.
Michael Perry of Hanover continues his recovery from a one-vehicle accident on Hanover-Saluda Road earlier this month. He visited Southwestern High School on Wednesday.
A praise service for Perry will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hanover.
