Argument over dog leads to teen's arrest

A Jefferson County teen was arrested Wednesday following an argument over a neighbor's dog.
Police responded to the 1500 block of Clifty Drive after a call about a neighbor dispute involving a gun. Two neighbors had been arguing over a dog when Zachary A. White, 19, of Madison, went into his residence and came out with a handgun, Jefferson County Sheriff John Wallace said in a release. The neighbor said White pointed the firearm and made threats to harm him.
White was arrested on charges of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, pointing a firearm and intimidation. He was lodged at the Jefferson County Jail.
