Carroll to offer weekly small business classes

The Carroll County Community Development Corporation will offer weekly classes later this month for people interested in opening a business or current owners hoping to grow their business.
"Starting and Growing Your Small Business" classes begin at 6 p.m. on Jan. 22. A two-hour class will be held on Wednesday evenings for six weeks at the Carroll County Public Library, 135 Court St.
Classes will cover topics like how to write a business plan, obtain financing, marketing, business licensing, accounting and tax issues.
The class workbook and other materials cost $25.
