Carrollton man arrested
in child pornography case

Kentucky State Police detectives arrested a Carrollton man Monday after allegedly finding child pornography on a computer in his home.
A Kentucky State Police investigation found Cody Thomas, 23, in possession of child pornography that he had been sharing with others via the internet, a news release said.
Kentucky State Police said officers found a computer with more than 100 videos containing child pornography at Thomas' home in the 900 block of Seventh Street after serving a search warrant at the residence.
Thomas was arrested and charged with possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor and distribution of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor, both Class D felonies.
Thomas remains lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center.
