Three people were transported to King's Daughters' Hospital on Monday after an accident involving a Catch-A-Ride bus on Green Road.
Madison police, who responded to the accident at about 9:30 a.m., said the bus was heading west on Green Road when the driver of a minivan - which was eastbound - attempted a left turn where Green Road splits into State Street. The two vehicles collided and the van was pushed into another vehicle, which sustained only minor damage.
Both the bus and the van had to be towed from the scene.
Madison Police Department Patrolman James Lee said two juveniles were in the van at the time of the crash but they were not injured. However, the driver of the van, Anita Jerry of Madison, and two passengers inside the bus - the only two occupants in the vehicle - were taken to KDH.
The names of the passengers were not released. The driver of the Catch-A-Ride bus was not injured.
