City OKs horses at 'All Kids Can'

The Madison Zoning Board met Monday and approved two new applications.
The first was for Jacqueline Overpeck for her business, All Kids Can Therapy. The board approved a use permit for boarding of two horses to be used for children's therapy. The building is located at 2420 Wilson Ave. and is zoned general business.
The second was for Robert and Pamela Schoenstein. They were awarded a variance permit to rebuild the front porch on their house at 517 Walnut St. The area is zoned historic district residential.
The board also renewed permits to: Bennett's Towboat Service for a variance permit for a boat parts and accessory shop at 103 Walnut Street; Kamlesh Dave/SITA Management for a variance permit for a billboard sign at 305 Clifty Drive; William K. Ison, for a conditional use permit for a mobile home at 175 Goins Road; Ronald Day, for a conditional use permit for a mobile home at 789 N. Eagle Hollow Road; Darrell's Tire Service, for a variance to operate a tire service center at 1019 Walnut Street; Evelyn Schultz, for a conditional use permit for a mobile home at 988 Saddletree Lane; Earl Wayne Roberts, for a conditional use permit for a junkyard at 1469 Hutchinson Lane; Darlisa Davis, for a conditional use permit for a daycare center at 206 Green Road; The Knights of Columbus, for a conditional use permit for a mobile home at 2250 Lanier Drive; Dealton Bennett, for a conditional use permit for four R.V.'s at 1034 East First Street; Kathryn G. Ayers, for a conditional use permit for a guest cottage or miscellaneous home business at 1116 W. Main St.; and Games Gurley, for a conditional use permit for a tobacco packaging facility at 2600 Wilson Ave.
