EARLY MORNING ACCIDENTS

Law enforcement responded to at least five accidents this morning likely caused by slick roads from snowfall. Three wrecks occurred on State Road 56 - two near the junction with State Road 62, and one at the entrance to Hanover College. The accident near the entrance to Hanover College, bottom, involved one truck striking a telephone pole. One accident, top, occurred at State Road 7 and County Road 480-N, near Wirt Baptist Church. The fifth accident, which was reported as a car on its side, occurred at an unknown location on State Road 256. Names, information about the accidents and conditions of those involved were not available late this morning. Complete information will be posted at www.madisoncourier.com when it becomes available. Police respond to 8 accidents
I bet money these guys were hauling butt. I've driven hwy 7 for 20 years to and from work. These are the guys that speed past you and you pray that they don't kill anyone. Yes it was bad out, but guys in trucks think they are invincible.
