Tuesday, February 05, 2013 10:00 AM
Crews from Dupont and Madison Township fire departments were sent to battle a fire this morning at 10589 NW Front St. in Dupont.
Crews on the scene indicated the house was fully engulfed in flames, according to police scanner traffic. Crews also reported that there was gunpowder in the residence.
Dave Bell, Madison Township fire chief, said no one was in the home. The fire is expected to have started in the northern part of the house. Bell said the house is a total loss.
