Vevay Ghost Tours: The Historic Hoosier Theater and the Switzerland County Historical Society will host walking ghost tours Oct. 26. Tours start at 7 p.m. rain or shine. Tickets are $25 per person. Tour guides encourage those on the tour to bring their ghost hunting equipment, flashlights and cameras along and take advantage of the opportunity to gain access to these places. Halloween Costume Party: The Elks Lodge 524, 1251 W. Main St., will host a Halloween costume party and fish fry Oct. 26 from 5 to 9 p.m. The event is open to the public. Admission is free. The meal is $10 per person. Live entertainment will be provided by Ray Rodriguez.

Haunted Hayrides: The Deputy Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual haunted hayride fundraiser Oct. 26-27. Events will begin at 4 p.m. with a fish fry and popcorn sales. Rides start at 8 p.m. Cub Scouts will host a costume contest at 7 p.m., and there will be other festivities throughout the night. Glow sticks will be on sale. Hayride ticket sales begin at 6 p.m. with the first ride leaving at dark. Tickets cost $4 for adults and $3 for children ages 12 and younger.

Trail of Screams: Will be open Oct. 26-27 at Milton Fire and Rescue Station 2, 35 Volunteer Drive. The maze features nearly a mile of twists, turns and dead-ends, and haunters. The corn maze will open at 5 p.m., but no haunters will be inside the maze until dark for anyone who wants to visit before the haunting begins. Admission is $5 per person, with proceeds supporting the Milton Fire and Rescue Department.

Haunted Tour: A multi-room haunted house will be featured at the Tyson Activity Center in Versailles Oct. 26 from 8 p.m. to midnight and Oct. 27 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. The Haunted Tour costs $5, and a Child Activity Area costs $3.

Family Fun Halloween Weekend: General Butler State Resort Park will host a Family Fun Halloween Weekend Oct. 26-28. Activities will include a Haunted Train Track of Terror & Haunted Firehouse and Glow in the Dark 18-hole Mini Golf. Trick-or-Treating and entertainment will be included throughout the weekend. Admission fees will be charged for activities. A $5 visitor's entrance fee will be charged to guests not staying at the campgrounds Saturday.

Trick or Treat: Will be held in Switzerland County Oct. 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. Trick-or-treat in Jefferson, Trimble and Carroll counties will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.

Kid's Halloween Party: The Madison Moose Lodge will host a children's Halloween Party Oct. 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Spooky Mansion: The Lanier Mansion State Historic Site will host an event Oct. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. for children ages 3 to 10. Activities will include trick-or-treating in the mansion's basement and spooky decorations on the first floor. There also will be crafts and stories. Admission is $3 per child. Halloween Bash: Madison Township Volunteer Fire Department, 3413 N. Michigan Road, will host the 10th annual Shop With A Firefighter Halloween Bash. The Oct. 27 event will feature live music from "The Rumors" Doors open at 8 p.m. The band plays from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Cover charge is $6.

Halloween Party: Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion will host an adult Halloween Party Oct. 27 from 8 p.m. to midnight. Costume judging will begin at 10 p.m., and prizes will be awarded.

Halloween Fun: The city of Milton will also host a Halloween event during the city's trick-or-treat Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Milton Municipal Building.

Red, White and Boo!: Will be held Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. on Vaughn Drive near Bicentennial Park with many local organizations sponsoring games and candy for young children as an alternative to door to door trick-or-treating. A costume contest is planned for 6:30 p.m., with registration beginning at 6 p.m. In case of rain the event will be moved to the Brown Gym.

Red, White and Boogie!: Will be held Oct. 31 in front of Crystal Beach on Vaughn Drive from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. with music and food. Teenagers are encouraged to dress up in costume for the event.
