KDH Men's Health program is Thursday

King's Daughters' Health is hosting a Men's Health Event on Thursday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at its Medical Office Building, 630 Broadway.
The event includes free prostate cancer screenings for eligible participants. The screening will include both a physical exam and a PSA blood test.
Dr. Aaron Becker, urologist with First Urology and KDH, will share the latest information about prostate cancer and prostate health from 5:15 to 5:30 p.m. He will then have a question-and-answer session. Nurse practitioner Charity Welch will also be available to answer questions.
The event will also include a healthy heart booth with blood pressure testing and BMI evaluation; nutritional information; information on sun protection, as skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States; tobacco cessation tips; and direct-access testing.
All event participants will receive a gift card. The event is open to men of all ages. No appointment is required.
