Man arrested after selling heroin to police informant

A Madison man was arrested after a lengthy investigation by Madison police into the sale of drugs.
Police said Anthony J. Turner, 27, sold heroin to an undercover informant from the Madison Police Department on two different occasions.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Turner sold 0.4 grams to an informant on Nov. 27, 2012, and Dec. 6, 2012. Both transactions cost $120, according to the affidavit. The first deal was within 1,000 feet of E.O. Muncie Elementary School and the second deal was within 1,000 feet of Fireman's and Bicentennial parks, according to police.
A warrant was served on Turner on Thursday. He is charged with two counts of dealing a controlled substance, a Class A felony.
