An Indiana man involved in a motorcycle accident Thursday in Trimble County, Ky., was flown to University Hospital in Louisville with injuries.

The man, who police have not yet identified, was southbound on U.S. 421 near Milton Bedford Pike when he lost control of his motorcycle and was thrown from the bike, Milton Fire and Rescue said in a Facebook post. Milton and Bedford Fire and Rescue units responded to the accident around 3:10 p.m.

The man was flown by Air Methods to the Louisville hospital for his injuries. The man's condition was not available this morning, Kentucky State Police dispatch said.

Traffic near the accident was reduced to one lane for about 45 minutes Thursday.
