A woman reported missing this morning by the Hanover Police Department was found after a three-hour search, according to Police Chief Ron Kroger.

"Tony" Ellis, 68, was found around 8:30 a.m. off of State Road 62, near Auxier Gas.

"It's a good morning," Kroger said after the woman was located. "We kept thinking the worst, so this is good. It's a good morning."

The Hanover Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and the Hanover Fire Department conducted the search. Kroger said they began looking for the woman around 5:30 a.m.

Kroger said searchers were unsure what happened to Ellis.

She was last seen around 9 p.m. Thursday near the Hanover Nursing Center, though she is not a resident.
