The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department arrested two people Friday after an investigation into drug dealing.
Natasha D. Hoffman, 24, and Charles R. Martin, 27, both of Madison, were arrested on warrants for dealing a controlled substance, a Class A felony.
The investigation was led by Capt. Det. Keith Hartman. Madison Police Department officers Jacob Schmidt and Kurtis Wallace assisted in the investigation by executing a search warrant at an address on West Third Street.
Officer found drugs, paraphernalia and currency believed to be associated with the sale of drugs, Sheriff John Wallace said in a news release.
Hoffman and Martin were taken to the Jefferson County Jail.
I was sitting at home doing laundry I looked out the window and seen. 10 cops out in my front yard. I WAsNT DOING ANYTHING illegal they walked in W/O saying who they was. ONCE they entered my property officer Simpson picked my dog up by its color and threw it in the play pin. They told me to sit and said I couldn"t make a phone call about my daughter my parents watched for one night. I sold my Oldsmobile Intrigue for 1500 to Timony Konkle a cashier at the Gas station and collected 3 months of rent from my tenant Nicky Gardner 1400 that she got from her taxes at west 3rd st. The MPD And u guys said I was arrested on friday and the search warrant was places on friday both are complete lies they came to my home under faulse pretenses saying I was manufacturing meth which they found no evidence of not even one item in my property. Then took my own legal prescription and my friends perscription that was paper not even filled. Took all the money I have took me to jail then on wensday after court after a bail they put a hold on my bond and then added 2 A felonies then told everyone who called " that it was for Cocaine and didn"t even tell me or show me what I was being charged with. the judge had to tell me friday when I went to court" while I was in court they told me my charges to which it was not for dealing cocaine. How can they lie to the family and friends who respect me. And u guys lie to the community as if they raided my house for dealing when actually they raided my house for a fake warrant due to faulse accusations then add dealing charges 3 days after I was incarcerated and took my ex BF father of my child to jail on friday
